PLINFT IS A GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF NFT CULTURE

We’re embracing a new way to draw wide-scale attention to the NFT movement, beginning with community events in the most culturally significant city square in the world.

How? By harnessing the largest digital billboard in Times Square to act as a portal to bring the blossoming NFT world to the mainstream. Through this portal, collections and communities band together to showcase their unique NFT culture.

Communities are the currency. The phenomenal rise of NFTs has catalyzed an explosion of digital community building, as multiple groups organized around NFT collections form and hyperscale globally. PLINFT gives NFT communities a chance to signal identity, encourage artistic expression, and, most importantly, come together to create a resonating network effect.

Our name is inspired by the “plinth,” a pedestal to raise, present and support a three-dimensional work of art, separating it from its immediate surroundings so it can be seen and appreciated to the maximum.

WHO ARE THE PLINFTS?

PLINFT is founded by creative director Nicolas Roope, software developer Joe Leo, producer Harris Salat and “Bruder” (anonymous crypto god), four friends with roots in the crazy Internet ramp-up of the 90s who’ve come together to humbly contribute to the most important new innovation in the 21st century—NFTs.

We’re excited to be part of this moment when again anything is possible, equipped with the wisdom of knowing the choices we make today will forge our world in the future.
